Larry, what's your take on the exchanges I've had with Chip? Do you think I'm right or wrong to be angry about this, and what would your advice be as to my future actions, if any should be required?

Sat, March 27, 2004 - 8:03 PMI believe your handling of Chip was absolutely appropriate. Chip obviously doesn't understand the ebb & flow of tribe meant for humor.
A tribe is not a Democracy but dictatorship run by the moderator of that tribe. You can kick him out, you can delete his threads or whatever. It's your tribe to do with as you please.
For future actions I would recommend:
1. Not doing anything that endangers your students mentally, emotionally or physically.
2. If you do continue that behavior don't incriminate yourself by posting it one tribe.
3. If chip keeps it up, ban him from your tribe. Anyone that continually posts outside the purpose is subject to banishment. -

Sat, March 27, 2004 - 8:16 PMHe quit long ago of his own accord, which makes his stalker-like behavior all the more weird, as this had popped up weeks after my exchanges with him, which were brief. As for my real life behavior, well, let's say that my tribe posts are not exactly non-fiction. I've got lots of time to kill waiting to get my class back from my student teacher.
